The milestone 20th Toshali Swadeshi Crafts Mela 2026 was organized from February 14 – 26, 2026 at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar by the Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department of Odisha.
Celebrating Odisha & Eastern Craft Splendor
With over 600 artisan kiosks, the mela spotlighted Odisha's rich GI-tagged master crafts:
- Pattachitra & Palm Leaf Etchings: Master artists from Raghurajpur executing live scroll paintings.
- Sambalpuri, Bomkai & Kotpad Handlooms: Natural dye tribal weaves and organic cotton textiles.
- Cuttack Silver Filigree (*Tarakasi*): Delicate openwork silver jewelry and ceremonial chariots.
- Pipili Appliqué & Dhokra Castings: Vibrant embroidered garden umbrellas, wall canopies, and bronze figurines.
