The annual Taj Mahotsav 2026 celebrated its grand 10-day carnival from February 18 – 27, 2026 at Shilpgram in Agra, against the breathtaking backdrop of the Taj Mahal.
A Grand Melting Pot of Indian Artistry
Over 400 celebrated master craftspersons from every state of India gathered to exhibit authentic regional specialties:
- Parchin Kari (Marble Inlay Work): Direct descendants of the master craftsmen who built the Taj Mahal demonstrating Pietra Dura inlay techniques.
- Zari Zardozi Embroidery: Royal gold-thread embroidery on silk and velvet from Agra and Varanasi.
- Saharanpur Carved Woodwork & Khurja Pottery: Traditional hand-painted ceramics and teak furniture.
