The SARAS Aajeevika Mela is a prestigious national initiative by the Ministry of Rural Development and Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-NRLM to bring grassroots rural artisans directly into mainstream national markets.
Featuring over 300 women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) from 28 states, the mela exhibits authentic organic forest honey, Madhubani canvases, hand-spun Khadi, Jute homeware, and regional culinary delicacies, fostering financial independence and women empowerment.
